Job summary

Cortica is hiring a School Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 behavior support for students with autism in school settings. You will collaborate with educators and the clinical team to implement BIPs, track progress, and adapt strategies to each student’s needs.

You must obtain BCAT or RBT credentials where required, maintain health safety certifications, and travel between assigned schools within the designated area. This role supports ongoing neurodevelopmental care in educational environments.

Qualifications

• Must obtain BCAT or RBT credential within 30 days where required by district.
• First aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• Tuberculosis (TB) clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavior support to students with autism in school settings.
• Implement BIPs and skill acquisition programs aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate behavioral strategies into daily routines.
• Record progress data and complete session notes and incident reports.
• Travel between assigned school sites within the service area.
• Follow safety, de-escalation, and mandated reporting procedures.
• Participate in team meetings and school-based trainings.
