Job summary

Cortica is seeking a dedicated School Behavior Technician (SBT) to provide 1:1 behavior support to students with autism and neurodevelopmental differences in school settings. You will work with educators, caregivers, and Cortica's clinical team to help students succeed throughout their school day. The role requires Alberta?

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year work experience in ABA/Behavior Technician roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to travel between work locations with reliable transportation.
• First aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Execute responsibilities and skills associated with BCAT certification (must be obtained within 30 days where required).
• Provide direct 1:1 and group ABA services to students in schools.
• Implement individualized BIPs and skill acquisition programs aligned with IEPs.
• Collaborate with school teams to integrate behavioral strategies into daily routines.
• Support development in communication, social skills, self-regulation, and self-care as appropriate.
• Collect data on student progress and complete timely documentation.
