Job summary

Cortica - Neurodevelopmental is seeking a School Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 behavior support to students with autism and neurodevelopmental differences within school settings. You will work with educators, caregivers, and the Cortica clinical team to help students succeed throughout the school day.

Responsibilities include implementing BIPs, data collection, and collaboration with school teams. A BCAT or RBT credential is required within 30 days where mandated, with travel between sites

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BCAT or RBT credential within 30 days of employment, where district requires.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between work locations.
• First aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• TB clearance requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavior support to students in school settings.
• Implement BIPs and skill acquisition programs aligned with IEP goals.
• Collect data on progress and behaviors; complete documentation.
• Collaborate with school teams and educators to integrate strategies.
• Support communication, social skills, self-regulation, and daily living skills.
• Travel between assigned school sites as needed.
• Participate in trainings and school-based activities.
