Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Behavior Consultant / BCBA in Nassau County, NY. The role supports students with individualized behavioral plans within school settings and requires collaboration with educators, families, and related service providers.

Responsibilities include conducting FBAs, developing BIPs, data-driven decision making, and on-site consultation across districts. Candidates should hold a NYS BCBA/BCABA/LBA credential, a master’s degree in a relevant field, and a driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
• NYS BCBA/BCABA/LBA certification required or currently pursuing licensure where applicable.
• Minimum of 1 year experience supporting children and families.

Responsibilities

• Partner with school administrators, teachers, and families to develop individualized, evidence-based behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify function and develop interventions.
• Design, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans aligned with student needs.
