Job summary

Family of Kidz seeks a Behavior Consultant/BCBA to develop and supervise evidence-based behavioral supports for students on the Eastern Long Island, NY. The role involves FBAs, BIPs, data-driven decision making, and collaboration with school teams and families.

The position offers either part-time FFS or full-time status with a comprehensive benefits package; NYS BCBA/BCABA/LBA certification and a master's degree are required, along with a valid NYS driver’s license and at least one year of

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA or a related field is required.
• NYS BCBA/BCABA/LBA certification or eligibility required.
• NYS Driver’s License and proof of insurance required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience supporting children and families; bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with school staff and families to develop individualized behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate to identify function of behavior and interventions.
• Design, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to assess progress and adjust interventions.
• Provide coaching and training to classroom staff for consistent implementation.
• Support IEPs and attend CSE meetings, report progress and needs.
• Deliver professional development workshops and staff trainings on behavior management.
• Maintain HIPAA/FERPA compliant documentation and confidentiality.
