Family of Kidz is looking for a Behavior Consultant/BCBA in Nassau County, NY. The role may be part-time (FFS) or full-time, with compensation ranging from $40 to $75 per hour or $58,500 to $75,000 annually, depending on caseload and certification.

This position offers comprehensive benefits for full-time staff and a supportive team environment. The consultant will work with schools, families, and professionals to implement evidence-based behavioral supports.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, Educational/Health/Human Services.
• NYS BCBA/BCABA certification and/or LBA required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children and families.
• NYS Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance.

Aufgaben

• Partner with school administrators, teachers, aides, related service providers, and families to develop individualized, evidence-based behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify the function of behavior and develop effective intervention strategies.
• Design, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) aligned with student needs and educational goals.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to evaluate student progress and make data-driven recommendations.
• Develop practical, classroom-based behavioral supports that promote student independence and engagement.
• Provide ongoing coaching, modeling, and performance feedback to classroom staff.
• Collaborate with school teams to support IEP/behavioral objectives and attend CSE meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA/FERPA and company policies.
• Travel between assigned school districts to provide on-site consultation and support.

Kenntnisse

1+ year experience with children and/​
