Job summary

Family of Kidz in Suffolk County, NY is seeking a Behavior Consultant / BCBA (part-time or full-time, fee-for-service). The role involves collaborating with schools, teachers, and families to implement evidence-based behavioral supports and assess student progress.

You will conduct FBAs, design BIPs, collect data, coach staff, participate in IEPs/CSE, and travel between districts. The organization offers generous benefits, sign-on bonus, and opportunities for BAC CEUs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
• NYS BCBA, BCABA, or LBA certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting children and families.
• NYS Driver's License and proof of Insurance.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with school staff and families to design individualized behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate with teams to identify functions and interventions.
• Design, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Collect and analyze data to guide interventions and progress.
• Provide coaching and feedback to classroom staff for consistent implementation.
• Support IEPs and CSE meetings with behavioral recommendations.
• Complete documentation and ensure HIPAA/FERPA compliance.
• Travel between districts to provide on-site consultation.
