Job summary

Cortica Care is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide direct behavior-analytic services to children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences. You will work as part of a transdisciplinary team in home, clinic, school, and community settings, following a Whole Child Approach under the supervision of a BCBA.

The role requires BCAT within 90 days, a high school diploma, reliable transportation, and ability to travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BCAT credential within 90 days of employment.
• Safety training certification within 90 days of employment.
• Must maintain reliable transportation and be able to travel to assigned work locations.
• First aid/CPR training or ability to obtain.
• TB clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavior-analytic services to autistic children.
• Implement Cortica's Whole Child Approach under BCBA supervision.
• Deliver care in home, clinic, school, or community settings.
• Travel to assigned settings within the designated region.
• Document data collection and session notes during sessions.
• Assist with assessments and data collection.
• Follow crisis and safety procedures and reporting.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality.
• Adapt to stressful situations and remain calm.
