The Ohio State University Medical Center is seeking a Manager of Scheduling to lead the James Ambulatory Scheduling team. You will supervise staff, ensure accurate patient scheduling, and drive data-driven process improvements across scheduling workflows.

You will collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to ensure regulatory compliance and reliable access to care, while guiding projects, budgets and outcome measurements to enhance patient experience and reimbursement accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or healthcare field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years of relevant experience required.
• 8-12 years of health care experience preferred.
• Demonstrated successful leadership, supervisory and management skills.
• Computer experience required.
• Knowledge of applications and systems and demonstrates proficiency.
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Sense of professionalism, ability to win confidence of those at various levels of the organization.

Responsabilités

• Manage, guide, coach and evaluate the work performance of the staff in Patient Access for The James.
• Monitor and ensure the accuracy of scheduling and efficacy of processes through reports.
• Collect and coordinate QA data, process analysis and monitoring, developing reporting mechanisms and measuring customer satisfaction.
• Manage projects related to the product line and resolve identified issues to improve outcomes.
• Assist with development of budgets and implementation of new programs; ensure outcome measurements and regulatory compliance.
