Job summary

The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital seeks an experienced Manager of Scheduling to lead Patient Access scheduling operations, drive process improvements, and ensure compliant, accurate appointment coordination across the James ambulatory services.

You will supervise staff, develop QA reporting, oversee scheduling accuracy, participate in budgeting and program implementations, and uphold JCAHO standards while coordinating with physicians and patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or healthcare field or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of relevant experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership, supervisory and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, guide, coach and evaluate Patient Access staff for The James Ambulatory Scheduling.
• Monitor and ensure scheduling accuracy and process efficacy through reports and QA data.
• Develop reporting mechanisms and measure customer satisfaction.
• Assist with budgets, new program implementation and regulatory compliance (e.g., JCAHO).
