Job summary

Reworld is seeking a detail-driven Scale House Clerk to weigh trucks, monitor inbound and outbound activity, and keep precise records of tickets and manifests. You will interact with drivers, departments, and the public to ensure accurate billing and smooth operations.

The role requires strong organizational skills, experience with Excel, and the ability to work in a busy environment. Schedule is day shift, Monday–Friday, with possible Saturdays and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• GED/ HS diploma required.
• 1–3 years of administrative, clerical and accounting experience.
• Must be highly organized with knowledge of basic bookkeeping and records management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and business software.

Responsibilities

• Operate scale house computer to weigh trucks and monitor inbound/outbound activity.
• Communicate with departments and keep accurate tickets and manifests records.
• Identify customer account with drivers to ensure accurate billing.
• Balance daily receipts and ensure proper billing.
• Answer phones and provide information on hours, waste types, and location.
• Maintain safety by ensuring PPE use and safe processes.
• Report scale operational issues to supervisor and other departments.
