Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking a reliable scale house operator to accurately weigh trucks, monitor inbound and outbound traffic, and keep precise tickets and manifests. You will collaborate with operations and billing to ensure correct account identification and timely reporting.

Ideal candidates have a GED or HS diploma, 1–3 years in admin/clerical or accounting, strong organization, and proficiency with Excel and office software. Safety and PPE compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• GED/HS diploma required.
• 1–3 years admin, clerical and accounting experience.
• Highly organized with strong bookkeeping and records management.
• Proficient with business software and MS Excel.
• Ability to meet deadlines and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Operate the scale house computer to weigh trucks and track activity.
• Maintain accurate records of tickets and manifests.
• Identify customer accounts by driver discussion and visual checks for billing accuracy.
• Answer phones and provide hours, waste types, and location information.
• Calculate payments for customers and balance daily receipts.
• Ensure loads are safe and free of inappropriate material.
• Ensure PPE compliance and safety in operations.
• Communicate issues to supervisor and other departments.
