Job summary

Reworld Waste in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Scale House Clerk to accurately weigh trucks, verify customer accounts, and record tickets and manifests. You will answer calls, monitor inbound/outbound activity, and help ensure safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of administrative or accounting experience, a high school diploma, proficiency with Excel, and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in administrative, clerical and accounting activities.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be flexible to work different shifts, including Saturdays.
• Highly organized with knowledge of bookkeeping and records management.
• Proficient in using a computer and business software; Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Interface with employees, customers and visitors in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Monitor inbound/outbound truck activity and collect accurate truck weights.
• Identify customer accounts by speaking with drivers and verifying information for accurate billing.
• Maintain accurate records of all tickets and manifests.
• Answer phone calls and provide information on hours of operation, acceptable waste types, and location.
