Job summary

Reworld seeks a dedicated scale house operator to accurately weigh trucks, monitor inbound and outbound activity, and maintain precise records of tickets and manifests. You will communicate with drivers and internal teams to ensure correct billing and safe operations.

The role requires 1-3 years in administrative/clerical work with basic bookkeeping knowledge, strong organization, and proficiency with Excel. Flexibility for varying shifts, including Saturdays, is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in administrative, clerical and accounting activities.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including Saturdays.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and basic business software.

Responsibilities

• Operate the scale house computer to weigh trucks and monitor inbound/outbound activity.
• Identify customer accounts by speaking with drivers and verify accuracy for billing.
• Keep accurate records of all tickets and manifests.
• Answer phones and provide information on hours, waste types and location.
• Calculate payments and balance daily receipts for proper billing.
• Generate reports as needed and ensure safety PPE is worn at all times.
