Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a SCADA Engineer to support design, development and delivery of their SOLV SCADA solutions for utility-scale projects. The role offers hybrid work with in-office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR or fully remote, with location details discussed during interviews.

Responsibilities include developing SCADA components, configuring servers and HMIs, and ensuring contractual deliverables.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of SCADA engineering experience in renewable energy (PV/BESS/Wind).
• Proficiency with Python.
• Experience with Ignition SCADA platform.
• Familiarity with PLC equipment and industrial protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SCADA integration components and systems for utility-scale renewable projects.
• Define and implement product design standards and best practices.
• Create device points lists, HMI assets, and commissioning test plans.
• Program and commission SCADA servers, data historians and HMI systems.
• Review closeout documentation to verify deliverables meet contracts.
• Provide intermediate technical support for SCADA configurations and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with customers and field technicians for on-site commissioning.
