Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Engineering level SCADA support professional to assist design, development and delivery of the SOLV SCADA solution and EPC projects.

This hybrid role offers in-office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR, or fully remote work. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement standards, support commissioning, and provide technical guidance across renewable energy SCADA deployments.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of SCADA engineering experience in renewable energy projects (PV, BESS, or wind).
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Intermediate knowledge of Ignition SCADA and relational databases.
• Familiarity with PLC platforms (Schweitzer RTAC, Allen-Bradley, GE/Emerson RX3i) and SCADA networks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SCADA integration components for utility‑scale projects.
• Define and implement design standards and best practices.
• Program and commission SCADA servers, historians, and HMIs.
• Review closeout docs to ensure contractual deliverables.
• Coordinate with customers and field technicians for on‑site commissioning.
