Job summary

SOLV Energy, a leading provider of infrastructure services for the power industry, seeks an engineer to support the design, development, and delivery of the SOLV SCADA solution for utility-scale projects. Qualifications

• 2–4 years of SCADA engineering experience in renewable energy, industrial, or utility-scale projects.
• Proficiency with Python programming.
• Experience with Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA platform.
• Familiarity with PLC environments (Schweitzer RTAC, Allen-Bradley/CompactLogix, GE/Emerson RX3i) and industrial protocols.
• Experience with Modbus RTU/TCP, DNP3, OPC UA/DA.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SCADA integration components and systems for utility-scale renewable energy projects (Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage).
• Define and implement design standards and best practices aligned with company goals.
• Review project requirements and ensure deliverables meet contractual scope.
• Generate device points lists, HMI assets, and commissioning test plans.
• Program and commission SCADA servers, data historians, and HMI systems.
• Review closeout docs to verify all contractual deliverables are met.
• Provide intermediate technical support for SCADA configurations and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with customers and field technicians for on-site commissioning and installation support.
