Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an experienced SCADA engineer to support the design, development and delivery of the SOLV SCADA solution and EPC projects. The role offers hybrid work with in-office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR, or fully remote, with location details discussed during interview.

You will work with cross-functional teams to implement standards, configure SCADA servers, HMIs and data historians, and provide on-site commissioning support as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of SCADA engineering experience in renewable energy or utility-scale projects.
• Proficiency with Python programming.
• Experience with Ignition SCADA, relational databases, and PLC environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SCADA integration components for solar, BESS, and wind projects.
• Define design standards and best practices within the team.
• Program and commission SCADA servers, data historians, and HMIs.
• Coordinate with customers and field technicians for on-site commissioning.
• Maintain project documentation and knowledge base.
• Provide status reports and support risk mitigation.
