Job summary

Happen Bank seeks a Sr Business Development Manager, SBL to grow its SBA and conventional lending portfolio. You will develop new client relationships, deliver financing solutions, and partner with COIs and internal teams to originate high-quality loans with excellent service.

You will build trusted relationships, identify opportunities, and navigate lending decisions while maintaining credit quality and regulatory compliance. Hybrid remote/in-office work and time-zone flexibility are expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years SBA lending experience including SBA 7(a) and 504, plus conventional loans.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven success building referral networks and sourcing new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Grow a portfolio of SBA 7(a), 504, and conventional loans while maintaining credit quality.
• Develop referral networks with COIs, CDC offices, and community partners.
• Guide clients through qualification to closing with a focus on customer experience.
• Evaluate opportunities via financials, cash flow, collateral, and pricing.
• Collaborate with credit and operations for underwriting and closing.
