Job summary

NBH Bank is seeking a Senior Business Development Officer to identify SBA prospects, develop client relationships, and support cross-sales across lending and Treasury products. The role emphasizes strong credit knowledge and portfolio growth in a dynamic banking environment.

You will work with SBA products, prepare credit presentations, and assist in loan closings while maintaining regulatory compliance and superior client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in commercial banking or small business banking.
• Minimum 5 years SBA lending experience in a business development role.
• 15+ years of commercial credit/banking experience.
• 10+ years SBA experience.
• Completed formal bank/credit training program.
• Master’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and call SBA prospects and referrals in the footprint.
• Acquire, manage and grow profitable client relationships.
• Support cross-selling of lending, depository, interest rate swaps, and Treasury Management products.
• Develop credit presentations and present term sheets and commitment letters.
• Ensure high credit quality within the portfolio and timely loan closings.
• Underwrite and support Bankers in expanding and deepening client relationships.
