Job summary

EY in the United States seeks a Manager in Data Management and Strategy to transform data into a strategic asset for client engagements. You will lead workstreams, ensure timely delivery, and identify opportunities for additional services.

Collaborate with stakeholders across SAP and non-SAP landscapes to define governance, drive data quality, and guide data migration programs. Travel 40–60% with a hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree).
• Typically 4–6+ years of hands-on SAP data transformation experience, including SAP MDG, Data Migration, or Data Governance initiatives.
• Experience across SAP data management disciplines, including Data Migration, Master Data Management (MDG), Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Analytics, and related enterprise data management capabilities.
• Strong understanding of the SAP S/4HANA data model and simplification impacts, with hands-on experience supporting SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA data and system migrations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing presentations, workshop facilitation, and technical documentation.
• Proven experience leading SAP data workstreams or projects and managing cross-functional, project-based teams.
• Knowledge of leading practices and advisory experience supporting business and technology transformation initiatives.
• A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions to complex problems, recommending changes to policies and establishing procedures that affect immediate work areas.
• Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Manage project status and deliverable completion while ensuring effective risk management.
