Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Customer Service Senior Consultant to join our US practice anywhere in the country. You will design, configure, test and implement SAP IS-U Customer Service solutions for utility clients, translating business requirements into functional designs across meter-to-cash processes.

You will collaborate with clients and internal teams, travel 40-60% as needed, and help deliver successful projects while adhering to EY’s guidance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including at least 3 years in SAP IS-U Customer Service.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design in a utility environment.
• Experience with SAP IS‑U customer, business partner, contract account, utility contract, premise, and customer‑service processes.
• Travel willingness to meet client needs; travel estimated at 40–60%.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements for customer and account maintenance, service requests, moves, transfers, and start/stop service.
• Configure SAP IS-U Customer Service elements including business partner, contract account, utility contract, and premise data.
• Design service-request, notification, and customer-contact workflows within SAP IS-U.
• Translate service-operation requirements into customer, account, contract, and service-request workflows.
• Coordinate end-to-end impact across Billing, FI-CA, Device Management, Work Management, and digital channels.
• Analyze exceptions affecting activation, billing readiness, payments, and data integrations.
• Prepare functional designs, configuration documentation, test scenarios, data mappings, and cutover deliverables.
• Support data conversion activities, validation, reconciliation, and go-live readiness.
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to client teams and junior staff.
