Job summary

EY is hiring an SAP IS-U Customer Service Senior Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement SAP IS-U solutions for utility clients. You will translate requirements across customer, account, contract, premise, and service-requests in a multi-team environment.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams, traveling 40–60% to meet client needs and deliver end-to-end SAP IS-U customer service capabilities across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years SAP IS-U/Utilities exp.
• Hands-on experience delivering requirements, configuration & testing.
• Experience with SAP IS-U customer, business partner, contract data.
• Experience with customer-lifecycle processes (move-in/out, etc.).
• Understanding meter-to-cash dependencies across modules.
• Experience creating functional specs, data mappings & test plans.
• Experience executing unit/integration testing & UAT support.
• Willingness to travel 40–60%
• Ideally: consulting exp, SAP S/4HANA Utilities, SAP CRM/C4C.

Responsibilities

• Gather/analyze requirements for customer and account maintenance, service requests, move-in/out, transfers, start/stop service.
• Configure SAP IS-U Customer Service: business partner, contract account, utility contract, premise, service connection.
• Design/support service-request, notification, and customer-contact processes in SAP IS-U.
• Translate service-operation requirements into customer/account/workflow designs.
• Coordinate impacts across Billing, FI-CA, Device Management, Work Management, field service & digital channels.
• Analyze exceptions in activation, account changes, billing readiness, payments, data, and integrations.
• Document requirements and end-to-end flows for self-service web/mobile/IVR with SAP IS-U.
• Prepare functional designs, configuration docs, test scenarios, data mappings, cutover readiness.
• Execute unit/integration tests and support UAT, regression, defect resolution, production issues.
• Support data conversion activities: mapping, validation, reconciliation, cutover readiness.
• Support cutover, data validation, production incidents, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, business users, technical/integration teams and leadership.
• Provide knowledge transfer and user procedures to client teams.
