Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Functional Manager to lead the end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions. You will own the Billing workstream, translate complex regulatory and market requirements into scalable SAP IS-U designs, and drive solution quality across the meter-to-cash process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience.
• 3+ years leading a functional workstream or team.
• Experience delivering design and deployment through go-live.
• Experience with time-of-use and interval-based billing and EDM integration.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing workstream from design through post-go-live.
• Define target functional design for Billing, tariff structures, and high-volume processing.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, and design governance.
• Drive end-to-end integration across Billing and related IS-U capabilities (EDM, FI-CA, Device Management).
• Lead complex billing scenarios including time-of-use, rebilling, and invoicing.
• Oversee functional specs, documentation, and standards.
• Coach the team and resolve cross-workstream issues.
• Oversee testing and defect resolution for billing cycles and reconciliations.
• Lead cutover planning and production readiness activities.
• Build trusted client relationships and provide functional guidance.
