Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Functional Manager to lead the end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for utility clients. You will own the Billing workstream, translate regulatory and tariff requirements into scalable designs, and guide cross-functional teams through design, testing, deployment, and stabilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically, 4–6 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including hands-on SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing.
• Experience owning SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solution design through implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Experience with time-of-use and/or interval-based billing and EDM integration.
• Experience integrating Billing with SAP IS-U capabilities such as Device Management, FI-CA, Customer Service, and bill print.
• Experience leading requirements gathering, workshops, functional design, testing, cutover, and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Owning the SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing workstream from design through post-go-live stabilization.
• Defining target functional design for Billing and Invoicing, including rate/tariff structures and high-volume processing requirements.
• Leading requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, workshops, and design governance.
• Driving end-to-end integration across Billing and related SAP IS-U capabilities.
• Leading complex billing scenarios including time-of-use and interval-based billing and financial reconciliation.
• Developing functional specifications, design decisions, and documentation.
• Leading and coaching team members and resolving cross-workstream issues.
• Overseeing testing and defect resolution for rates, tariffs, billing cycles, and invoicing.
