Job summary

Belk is seeking a Salon Retail Coordinator to manage front desk operations and ensure a welcoming experience for every guest. The role reports to the Salon Manager and is nonexempt, with emphasis on great service, multi-tasking, and professional handling of transactions.

The coordinator will drive retail sales, promote services, and maintain salon appearance while adhering to state regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• GED or High School diploma.
• Proficient in computer based business-related software.
• Ability to handle money, count and make change.
• Customer Service or Cosmetic industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and manage front desk within stated service standards.
• Suggest retail products, upsell, promote services and cross-sell to other salon areas.
• Respond to customer issues professionally and address complaints promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area and ensure schedule accuracy.
• Handle POS transactions efficiently and support pre-bookings during checkout.
