Job summary

JCPenney Salon is seeking a Salon Customer Experience Specialist in Jacksonville, NC. You will be the first and last impression, ensuring a welcoming, professional experience, accurate scheduling, and courteous service throughout every guest visit.

You will professionally recommend and sell retail products to support guests’ routines, partner with stylists, and help drive salon revenue while maintaining high hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

• Proactively recommend and upsell retail products based on guest needs and consultations.
• Meet or exceed individual and salon sales targets.
• Educate guests on product benefits and usage for at-home care.
• Coordinate with stylists to reinforce recommendations at checkout.
• Ensure front desk operations, scheduling, check-in/out and payments run smoothly.
• Maintain front desk and retail area cleanliness and organization.
• Support events, promotions, and team meetings to drive traffic.
