Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Director Salesforce Platform to own the enterprise Salesforce ecosystem, set the vision, operating model, and governance for Salesforce across FMS, SCS, and RLM, and chair the Salesforce Center of Excellence.

This leader is accountable for platform health, security, data integrity, lifecycle management, and sustained business value, and must earn trust across business segments while translating complex needs into a coherent Salesforce roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, CS, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in progressive technology leadership with responsibility for enterprise platforms.
• 10+ years leading Salesforce or comparable enterprise SaaS/CRM platforms in a large, complex environment.
• 5 years leading Salesforce org/instance rationalization/consolidation and governance.
• Experience managing cross-functional, multi-business-unit organizations.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own Salesforce platform health, security, reliability, and lifecycle management.
• Lead the Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) and set governance; drive architecture reviews and standards.
• Partner with enterprise architects, data teams, and business leaders to align strategy and investments.
• Define reference architectures, integration patterns, and data governance with a focus on risk and security.
• Lead vendor and financial management related to Salesforce investments and renewals.
• Drive talent development, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver value.
