Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits is seeking a Sales Trainee to learn SGWS products, the beverage industry, and consultative sales. You will support senior sales staff and the Area Sales Manager by servicing customers and building a strong pipeline.

Responsibilities include preparing account plans, identifying growth opportunities, analyzing data to drive sales, and maintaining thorough CRM records. This role requires travel and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a State Sales Permit in accordance with state laws.
• Ability to analyze data and information effectively.
• Proficient with SGWS technology and CRM tools.
• Comfortable using mobile devices for communication and reporting.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build positive customer relationships based on trust.
• Preplan account visits with an agenda and selling opportunities.
• Identify customer growth needs and develop business plans.
• Analyze data to increase sales and drive incremental opportunities.
• Maintain a pipeline of selling opportunities to exceed base sales.
• Visit accounts regularly and document visit notes in the CRM.
• Present and position SGWS products to customers.
• Collaborate with sales team to meet objectives.
• Participate in trainings and supplier events as required.
