Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits in Missouri seeks a Sales Trainee to learn SGWS products, sales processes, and consultative selling. You will support senior sales staff and the Area Sales Manager, helping to service and grow customer accounts.

You will train on visiting accounts, building growth plans, analyzing data, and leveraging SGWS tools to present compelling proposals. This role demands adaptability, a customer-first mindset, and travel as needed.

• Ability to secure and maintain a State Sales Permit in accordance with state laws

Responsibilities

• Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust
• Preplan account visits with an agenda, service purpose, and selling opportunities
• Discover and identify customer business growth needs
• Develop a customer business growth plan for each account
• Analyze data and insights to increase sales and grow customer business
• Build a pipeline of selling opportunities to drive incremental sales
• Visit accounts regularly and capture visit notes
• Maintain deep knowledge of SGWS products and present them effectively
• Propose selling solutions and win the sale using consultative selling skills
• Achieve internal SGWS objectives and supplier objectives
• Manage customer issue resolution and seek additional opportunities
• Learn accounts and stay aware of competitors' offerings
• Document and maintain account and customer information in Proof CRM
• Participate in sales meetings, trainings, and supplier events
• Perform other duties as assigned
