Job summary

Macy’s is hiring a Selling and Support Captain to act as a customer advocate and role model for colleagues. As an elevated hourly associate, you will excel in customer service, merchandising, and building brand loyalty through promotional and Omni selling initiatives.

Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled 30+ hours weekly; hours vary by business needs. Advancement paths include Personal Stylist or Sales and Customer Experience Manager.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of direct retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Fulfilling customer orders and merchandising, delivering outstanding service.
• Lead colleagues in executing tasks and maintaining process standards.
• Promote Macy’s app to enhance in-store customer experience.
• Provide feedback to People Leaders to improve service quality.
• Support opening/closing procedures and register handling.
• Educate staff on POS and RF tech to assist selling and fulfillment.
• Foster an inclusive environment and strong colleague connections.
