Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Selling and Support Captain to advocate for customers and lead store colleagues in delivering exceptional service.

As an elevated hourly colleague, you will drive results through promotional and Omni selling initiatives, with advancement opportunities to Personal Stylist or Sales and Customer Experience Manager. Full-time schedules average 30+ hours per week, with benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of direct retail experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customer orders, merchandising, processing new products, or supervising the selling floor to deliver exceptional service.
• Lead colleagues in completing assigned tasks.
• Role model for customers and provide fast feedback to improve every experience.
• Ensure high level of service through problem solving and customer-focused resolutions.
• Promote Macy's mobile app to enhance in-store experience.
• Meet with People Leaders to plan store activities.
• Provide continuous feedback to leaders to improve customer experience.
• Perform store opening/closing and manage registers.
• Lead adherence to merchandise standards.
• Educate colleagues on POS technology and RF equipment to assist selling and fulfillment.
• Foster inclusive environment strengthening relationships with colleagues and customers.
