Job summary

Macy's is seeking an energized Selling and Support Captain to act as a customer advocate and role model for the team. This elevated hourly position focuses on customer satisfaction, merchandising, and brand loyalty, driving results through promotional and Omni selling initiatives under a People Leader.

Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled for 30+ hours per week, with part-time options of 12-24 hours. Growth opportunities include Personal Stylist or Sales and Customer Experience Manager.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of direct retail experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customer orders and merchandise products on the selling floor.
• Lead colleagues in completing assigned tasks and maintain store standards.
• Provide fast feedback to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues.
• Promote Macy's mobile app to enhance in-store engagement.
• Assist in opening/closing procedures and cash handling as needed.
• Educate staff on point-of-sale technology and operations.
