Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Selling and Support Captain to act as a customer advocate and role model for your team. This elevated hourly role focuses on customer satisfaction, merchandising, and building brand loyalty through promotional and Omni selling initiatives.

Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week. Advancement opportunities include Personal Stylist or Sales and Customer Experience Manager, with a supportive People Leader team and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of direct retail experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customer orders and assist on the selling floor with exceptional service.
• Lead colleagues in completing assigned tasks.
• Promote Macy's mobile app to enhance in-store experience.
• Assist with merchandise standards and in-store presentation.
• Provide feedback to People Leaders to improve customer experience.
• Perform store opening/closing procedures and manage registers.
• Educate colleagues on point of sale tech and handheld devices.
• Foster an inclusive, respectful store environment.
