Job summary

DriveTime in Peoria, IL is seeking a Sales & Operations Advisor in Training to join our fast-paced team. You will greet customers, present vehicle features and financing basics, and support the purchasing journey alongside the sales and operations staff.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in hospitality, sales, or retail, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. A valid driver’s license and background check will be required. We offer solid benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or bachelors preferred OR equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years related work experience in hospitality, sales and/or retail with a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Ability to progress through a multi-phase, learning certification of Level 1 and 2 with increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner and create a positive dealership experience.
• Assist Sales & Operations Advisors during purchasing process including presenting vehicle features, pricing, financing basics, and dealership services.
• Follow up with internet leads, phone inquiries, and showroom guests to nurture relationships and maintain engagement.
• Schedule appointments and maintain consistent communication with prospective customers through phone calls, text and email.
• Support the sales team with test drives, vehicle presentations, and customer follow-up activities.
