Designated Area: Midwest and East Coast Regions

Travel Requirement: Travel up to 40%

Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 base

The Sales Manager Pharma will lead the development of Comecer’s Isolator Technology Solutions and accessories for aseptic applications in Pharma and Cell & Gene Therapy in North America. Responsibilities include aseptic handling and filling of APIs, dispensing R&D isolators, potent API processing isolators (PAPI), modular sterility testing isolators (MSTI), ATEX isolators, Baby Phill small batch vial filling, ValueCell Fill line for Closed Bag Filling, automated filling systems, Speedy Glove testers, and VPHP sterilization.

This role involves significant customer interaction, acting as the first contact for potential clients before, during, and after project development, focusing on selling Comecer Pharma and Cell & Gene Therapy solutions in North America.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Business Development Strategy:
2. Manage revenues within the assigned territory.
3. Collaborate on budget forecasts.
4. Organize marketing and customer outreach activities, including conferences, meetings, publications, social media, presentations, and networking, in coordination with the Marketing Office.
5. Coordinate with Comecer Italy on launching new solutions and suggest improvements based on market feedback.
6. Prepare quotations using Comecer systems.
7. Travel as required.
8. Perform other duties as needed.

Customer Relationship Management:

1. Act as a customer advocate.
2. Ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
3. Proactively address customer concerns and escalate when necessary.
4. Collaborate with other sales managers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in engineering, microbiology, or business.
• Experience in commercialization of laboratory equipment, aseptic environments, or related fields, with a focus on Pharma and Cell & Gene Therapy applications.
• Knowledge of sales, marketing, and financial principles.
• Strong negotiation skills for multi-year contracts.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and develop strategic account plans.
• Fluent in English; Italian is a plus.
• Proficiency in Sales Force and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Eligible to travel domestically and internationally and operate a vehicle.
