Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Venice, FL is seeking a Sales Manager to lead the store's selling culture and customer experience. You will direct front-end and service operations and coach a team to achieve sales KPIs, while upholding brand standards and operational expectations.

You will manage POS and Self-Checkout, oversee loyalty enrollment, and support omni-channel initiatives like BOPIS and Same Day Delivery, as well as in-store events and programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Strong coaching and customer-service orientation.
• Ability to lead front-end and service operations to meet KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion selling culture across the store.
• Oversee front-end and service operations ensuring brand standards.
• Coach and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing training.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Ensure accurate POS and Self-Checkout operations.
• Promote and enroll customers in the Loyalty Rewards Program.
• Drive omni-channel services (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery).
• Oversee special programs (Balloons, Birthday parties) and in-store events.
• Protect assets and ensure compliance with SOPs and policies.
