Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing team across front-end and service operations, drive sales, and deliver an engaging customer experience that aligns with brand standards.

You will coach and develop team members, provide MOD coverage, ensure accurate POS usage, oversee events and in-store programs, and support omni-channel fulfillment including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery, while maintaining loss prevention practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors, driving conversion and customer satisfaction.
• Provide MOD coverage, maintaining floor leadership, service standards, and operational continuity.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions and customer support.
• Oversee in-store programs and events (e.g., Balloons, Birthday parties).
• Promote and enroll customers in the Loyalty Rewards Program and protection services.
• Drive sales and operational excellence in knit & sew shop and related services.
• Ensure efficient BOPIS and Same Day Delivery execution.
