Job summary

Responsibilities include guiding customer interactions, supporting down stocking and inventory, and maintaining coverage across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a retail environment OR 5 years in retail.
• 1 year of experience in customer service.
• 1 year of experience supporting Pro customers (Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams.
• Experience training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train associates to deliver the best possible customer experience.
• Delegate tasks, follow up on daily work and monitor performance.
• Ensure adequate department coverage and manage performance.
• Support customer-facing activities and store safety practices.
• Communicate best practices to the team to drive sales and service.
• Occasionally assist with opening/closing and MOD duties as needed.
