Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team of associates, ensuring excellent customer service and a safe, well-stocked store. You will coach, delegate, and monitor daily tasks while maintaining strong product knowledge across departments.

Responsibilities include customer-facing and store-ops duties, safety walks, and potential MOD shifts. Travel to meetings or trainings may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years of retail experience or 5 years in retail.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of experience supporting Pro customers (Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing or supervising teams (with or without direct reports).
• Experience training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales licensure or registration as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of associates to deliver top customer service and a quality store experience.
• Delegate tasks, follow up on daily duties, manage performance and ensure department coverage.
• Oversee both customer-facing activities (greeting, needs clarification, solutions, sales) and non-customer-facing tasks (inventory, area recovery, safety).
• Communicate best practices to the team to drive customer-focused behavior and goals.
• Occasionally open or close the store or serve as manager-on-duty (MOD).
• Travel to meetings or trainings as needed to support neighboring stores.
