Job summary

Lowe’s is looking for a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team of associates, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure a clean, safe, and well-stocked store. You will coach staff, assign tasks, and supervise both customer-facing and back-end duties to meet sales and service goals.

You will work with store leaders to implement best practices, communicate effectively with the team, and occasionally serve as manager-on-duty. Travel to nearby stores for collaboration may occur.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a retail environment OR 5 years of experience in a retail environment.
• 1 year of experience in customer service.
• 1 year of experience supporting the unique needs of Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with or without direct report responsibility).
• Experience supporting or participating in the process of training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience Using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Coach and train associates, delegate tasks, and monitor daily performance.
• Oversee customer-facing activities and store safety, including safety walks and hazard reporting.
• Manage non-customer-facing duties like down stocking and inventory management.
• Communicate best practices to teams to drive sales and service objectives.
