Job summary

JCPenney is looking for a Sales Floor Assistant to drive customer service and profitable sales growth by leading and engaging associates. You will manage company merchandise standards and execution while training teammates to uphold performance expectations.

You will support floor sets, restocking, RFID/inventory tasks, and visual detailing based on company guidance. This role involves omnichannel support and participation in routine store operations and annual inventories.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead and engage team members to drive sales.
• Attention to merchandising and store presentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues to support sales targets.
• Coordinate with Merchandise Supervisor on restock, RFID and inventory processes.
• Assist with floor moves, visual merchandising, and maintaining fitting rooms and selling area.
• Support omnichannel initiatives (Buy Online Pick Up In Store, Ship from Store) as needed.
• Assist with inventory processes, DMTO procedures, and annual counts.
• Support shrink and safety initiatives and meet performance standards.
