Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Sales Floor Assistant to drive customer service and profitable sales growth by leading associates, upholding merchandise standards, and executing sales programs across the store floor.

You will manage restock, RFID/inventory processes, visual merchandising, and omnichannel tasks like Buy Online Pick Up In Store. The role emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and adherence to safety and shrinkage standards while delivering a welcoming shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales – Models and holds team accountable for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Door to Floor / Restock / RFID & Inventory – Plans upcoming merchandise placement, assists with inventory processes, restock program.
• SET / Visual / Environment – Assists with floor moves, graphics, and visual detailing; maintains stockroom.
• Omnichannel (SVG 2‑3 only) – Supports jcp.com orders and Buy Online Pick Up In Store/Ship from Store processes.
• General Operations – Assists with MTO, RTV, DMTO; participates in annual inventory processes.
• Performance Standards – Supports shrink and safety initiatives; meets performance standards.
