Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a Sales Engineering Manager in the United States to lead and coach a small team of Sales Engineers across the sales cycle. You will provide hands-on technical guidance, support pre-sales execution, and help manage complex opportunities in data security and management.

The role requires strong enterprise security knowledge, experience with SLED environments, and the ability to travel as needed. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting SLED environments and responding to RFP/RFI processes.
• Ability to partner with Information Security, IT, or Infrastructure teams.
• Prior experience mentoring Sales Engineers or leading pre-sales teams.
• Strong foundation in enterprise data protection, backup, or cyber resilience.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Engineers across the sales cycle.
• Partner with Sales Managers to support opportunities with hands-on guidance.
• Support customer engagements in Cohesity’s Data Cloud portfolio including backup, security, and data protection.
• Assist with RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and deal support.
• Deliver product demos, workshops, and proofs of concept.
• Escalate technical challenges to cross-functional teams to drive resolution.
