Job summary

Harness is seeking a Sales Engineer to bridge sales and engineering, articulating platform value to executives, business, and tech teams. You will drive the technology evaluation stage, deliver compelling demonstrations, and align customer needs with Harness capabilities.

You will represent the product at events, stay current on Harness tech, and collaborate with developers/DevOps; travel within the territory as needed. The role is remote in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Qualifications

World class presentation skills in delivering presentations/demos of our platform.
Able to work with customers directly to debug common errors.
Ability to tie business problems to technical solutions.
Capable of understanding and articulating technology value propositions.
Drive complex technical engagements with customers to prove the value of Harness solutions.
Strong cloud knowledge and infrastructure automation experience with Terraform.
Ability to respond to RFIs/RFPs and convey requirements to Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Deliver a great product demonstration that tells a story of value to customers.
Represent the product to customers and at field events such as conferences and seminars.
Stay up-to-date on changes and developments in Harness technologies.
Travel throughout a sales territory with minimal restrictions and on short notice.
