Job summary

Harness is seeking a Sales Engineer to operate at the intersection of sales and engineering. You will deliver technical demos and articulate how our AI-driven software-delivery platform creates business value for customers and prospects.

You will work with customers to understand needs, respond to RFIs/RFPs, and translate requirements into actionable engineering plans. Remote role based in the United States with travel as needed to close deals.

Qualifications

World-class presentation and storytelling abilities demonstrated in demos and sales engagements.
Ability to map business problems to technical solutions for executives and engineers.
Strong cloud and infrastructure automation knowledge (Terraform).
Experience in responding to RFIs/RFPs with technical and business value.

Responsibilities

Deliver compelling platform demonstrations and technical reviews for prospects.
Represent the product to customers at events and conferences.
Stay current on product changes and industry trends to articulate value.
Collaborate with customers and engineering teams to translate requirements into solutions.
Travel within a sales territory as needed to progress deals.
