Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate on the Fluid Solutions team to start in a structured training path and gain hands-on experience with our technical products.

You will shadow both sales and operations to understand the full equipment rental lifecycle, participate in outbound campaigns, and master our CRM and inventory tools while building customer relationships that drive revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a customer-facing sales role preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Proficient computer and mobile device skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Begin training at a local branch, shadowing sales and operations to learn the equipment rental lifecycle.
• Participate in outbound sales campaigns across construction verticals and customer segments.
• Master sales tools including our CRM, inventory platforms, customer portal and mobile apps.
• Lead high-level sales conversations involving price negotiations and rental contracts.
• Progress through the SDP towards Outside Sales Representative based on market conditions.
• Join local team initiatives and daily safety huddles to support customer success.
