Trainees begin at a nearby branch, shadowing both sales and operations to understand the full equipment rental lifecycle, then join a digital onboarding class to sharpen sales techniques. Participants work on outbound campaigns, gain exposure to construction verticals, and master tools such as CRM, inventory platforms, and mobile apps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a customer-facing sales role preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Proficient computer and mobile device skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Complete training at a local branch, shadowing sales and operations.
• Participate in North America onboarding and digital training.
• Engage in outbound sales campaigns across construction verticals.
• Lead high-level sales conversations including price negotiations.
• Utilize United Rentals sales tools: CRM, inventory platforms, customer portal, apps.
• Attend daily safety huddles and team-building events.
• Track SDP progress and receive feedback from leadership.
