Job summary

United Rentals is seeking candidates for a Sales Development training program in the United States. You will start at a local branch, shadowing sales and operations to understand the full equipment-rental lifecycle and participate in a North America onboarding class.

You will progress through outbound campaigns across construction verticals, master CRM and other tools, and engage in daily coaching as you build revenue growth and customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a customer-facing sales role preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Proficient computer and mobile device skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Begin training at a local branch shadowing sales and operations.
• Join a North America onboarding class to sharpen sales technique.
• Progress through outbound sales campaigns and diverse customer segments.
• Master sales tools, including CRM, inventory platforms, and portals.
• Lead high-level sales conversations, including negotiations and contracts.
• Receive daily feedback and participate in ride-alongs to jobsites.
• Participate in local team initiatives and performance tracking.
