Job summary

United Rentals is hiring a Sales Associate to join our General Rentals team. You will begin with a structured training path designed to prepare you for an Outside Sales role, working with experienced teammates to gain hands-on experience with our equipment and customer relationships.

You’ll progress through outbound campaigns, learn sales methodologies, and use CRM and inventory platforms to drive revenue. This role offers growth through a defined SDP program and cross‑branch collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in customer-facing sales roles preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Proficient computer and mobile device skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend structured training at a local branch to learn the full equipment-rental lifecycle.
• Participate in onboarding and sales technique classes for career progression.
• Lead outbound sales campaigns and build relationships with customers across segments.
• Master United Rentals sales tools including CRM, inventory platforms, and customer portal.
